Due to my husband being out of town this is the last thing I have cooked or baked...
Sugar Cookies
1 1/4 cup sugar
1 cup butter crisco
2 eggs
1/4 cup corn syrup
1 Tblsp vanilla
3/4 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
3 cups flour
Preheat oven 375. Mix Sugar and crisco. Add eggs, corn syrup, vanilla and mix. Add baking pdr, baking soda, and salt, mix. add flour at intervals mixing. If the dough is too soft put in the refrigerator for an hour. Roll into balls or roll out and cut out your favorite shapes. Put on greased cookies sheets and bake for 6-8 minutes. Let cool and frost.

Yummy, who doesn't love sugar cookies? I was suppose to make cookies for the past three days. But our family has had the run of the flu. Oh well. Hope you had a great Valentines day even though Jim was out of town. Hope you start feeling better soon.
